The Penthouse Airbnb

Back in Coolangatta! Thankfully, we booked accommodation months ahead of time for these two weeks because the Gold Coast is jam packed for the WCT Quiksilver Roxy Pro surf contest. We totally lucked out and booked the most amazing Airbnb - 14th floor penthouse apartment with a gorgeous balcony with full ocean views.Surprise bonus!! The Airbnb comes with a shihtzu puppy!!Our bedroom has an ocean view overlooking Duranbah, king size bed and full closet. We have a private bathroom with beautiful marble counters. We're living in the home of a local couple, Robert and Evelyn, who have been so welcoming and friendly! We're excited to have such a comfortable and spacious spot for two full weeks- our longest stint in an Airbnb so far. It's especially reassuring our faith in utilizing Airbnb, after our last accommodation in Cronulla was the worst we've ever had (one word: cockroaches)... I suppose after every disappointment awaits a pleasant surprise!
